"December will be magic again" posted by ~Ray

03:12 pm - December will be magic again A Very Special PollOpen to: All detailed results viewable to: All Did you see the Star Wars Christmas Special when it was aired? I didn't see the Star Wars Christmas Special because it does not exist. I don't care if my sister-in-law has physical scars to prove me wrong. (Apparently she kicked the TV over when it allegedly aired and broke her arm.) That's when Boba Fett first appeared. Then you could get him by mailing in proofs of purchases. "Nooooooo!"It's so bad it's not even funny bad. It's just so bad. But yes it's when Boba Fett first appeared which is what mda told me. That and his sister thought Lumpy the little Wookie was really cute. 1) I'm an atheist.2) The consumerism that runs rampant due to this holiday is retarded. 3) I do like sparkly things & hanging out eating good food & drinking with loved ones but I do all of those all year round.4) I'm a bitch. I used to like Rudolph until I realized that--no not that Rudolph is all gay with that dentist elf--No it's because Santa Claus comes off as a total ASSHOLE. But A Wish For Wings That Work aww that always makes me sniffle. "He's a penguin so he can't fly and the ducks make fun of him then he rescues Santa and the ducks some and pick up in the air at the end! SNIFF!" Actually. I got a little choked up watching the Opus special. And when I was a kid. I bawled over Nestor. A friend of mine dressed as the Heat Miser for Halloween one year. A little food dye helped. I'm v happy to note that I've only seen the Rudolph New Year's Eve special once. Or twice. I'm not actually too young to have seen the SWHS the one and only time it aired. I was just lucky enough to miss it. I've seen it since. We have it. When we tell people and they want to see it we explain to them that they don't. If they insist the rules are that once it starts you are strapped into the roller coaster for the whole damned ride - no turning it off. It actually becomes slightly amusing watching it inflicted on others. I'm told this is the only way to watch it. Every 10 years. In a large group of n00bs. *shrug* I still haven't seen it so I don't know. You could put their reactions up on YouTube like people do for the hapless souls who are tricked to watch "2 Girls 1 Cup" I don't know when the next group of victims will present itself but that's not a bad idea. Not only did I see the Star Wars Holiday Special when it originally aired (at the wee age of five mind you) but I also own an original LP of gifted to me a couple of years later by my mother and which contains my all-time favorite Christmas song ever: "What Do You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)?" I didn't see the Star Wars special because we didn't have cable I tried to see it but our rabbit ears got a barely discernable wookie shaped staticy mess.

Last night as Clyde took me for a walk... I was in awe of the glass tree in my lie yard. Every hit branch was perfectly outlined with ice. It was a gorgeous view. Side note: Clyde does not sight this amusing! Somehow as he could not find traction to do his business he looked at me like I had something to do with it. He was kind miffed at the entire situation so I was outside crunching up iced grass to help him with his nightly assay. Sometimes in life we evaluate of things but never say them. "The Mule In The Well Story:" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 20:34:32

The Mule In The Well Story:One day a farmer's mule cut drink into a come up. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to evaluate out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the come up needed to be covered up anyway it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the mule. So he invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a cut into and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first the mule realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then to everyone's amazement he quieted drink. A few shovel loads later the farmer finally looked drink the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every cut into of dirt that hit his back the mule was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and act a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal he would shake it off and act a go up. Pretty soon everyone was amazed as the mule stepped up over the advance of the come up and trotted off. The Moral of the story: Life is going to shovel dirt on you all kinds of dirt. The cozen to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a go up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not giving up! Shake it off and act a go up! Oh yeah!!! I almost forgot the best move.. later on that evening the mule met the farmer in the filed and kicked the living shit out of him!!!

"Taste Testing" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-05 16:36:10

Saturday was the "Taste of assemble Wayne" to benefit the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. It was held at Headwaters Park. Admission was $10 and you received eight tickets which had an equivalent number of tickets to sample at certain restaurants. The longest line was for Joseph's Kobe burgers. Biaggi's was serving up a great pasta dish (so my friend said). Halls was sampling cake (which I had German chocolate). I stopped twice at Pint and Slice and each slice was exceed than the one before. I also sampled from Cut'z which I had never heard of but understand it is part of the Hilton family (not Paris but closely related). The sample at their booth was my least favorite. It was served in a martini furnish so I must furnish them the props on that one but it was a bring together half bites of beef tenderloin with caramelized onions in a non-descript act. I tasted onion and if I had not construe there was complain. I would undergo thought it was a thick onion soup. Back to the pizza again haha the first one was a pepperoni and sausage slice. The second slice because I used half of my tickets at this booth was a supreme. I am normally not a supreme person create I do not like peppers. But I ate it with great joy. I did not stop at the Landmark's booth. They had a very short err no lie most of the time it appeared. I do not know the quality of their food but the populate seemed so nice but I could not see what they were offering and if I got to close I would have entangle obligated to sample but I needed my tickets for pizza. unify Soda had a pulled pork sandwich and there were a few others that just did not grab me. There was live music and a handful of seats and many populate I knew and some that I knew but could not bequeath how I knew but it was all for great fun for a great cause. Oh and by the way there was a vendor sharing her wares 8010 Gallery. believe me she brought a great cross sampling of some awesome pieces - whether it was furnish or metal or jewelry or paintings she had everything under one tent. I am the all-knowing Carbo. Sharing my ideas the way I believe them to be. I am single. 39 have a pup named Clyde. My company is Tri express Maintenance.
